Goodbye, my Prophet

Goodbye, President Hinckley, my hero.
I will miss you, so very much.
I love you.

I almost did not include this one, I actually have only been able to look at it about three times, it hurts to the center to look upon it. It shows though, what a FEELING man he was, and how much he loved his wonderful wife. Oh, that all of us could be so blessed!

At Faust's Funeral

***Crossing Fingers!!***

Horiscope for Cancer: Monday, January 21, 2008
Be ready for someone to enter your life who promises you fame,
fortune or simply an opportunity. Fortunately, you have the mental acuity
now to ascertain if it's the real deal or just a pipe dream.
Listen carefully to what's being said and then give yourself plenty of time
to roll the potential around in your mind. Don't second guess your intuition;
do what feels right.

The Boar's Head Festival

And so ends Christmas. Today is the last day of the "12 Days of Christmas" as celebrated in Europe, Epiphany...the day the Magi came to Jesus. Jesus.
Till next time, Father Chtistmas...save that dance for me.

Yes it is real. Ew.

The Tournament of Roses

In Pasadena, California. The day after the New Years Day Rose Parade. Watching the parade on the television cannot even BEGIN to give you an idea of how mind-blowing these floats are. I honestly don't know where they get the literal MILLIONS of roses from...*shake*shake*shake*
They let you come the day after and look at the floats up close, touch them even. Half a million people came to look at them over a two day period. They are serious about this people.

This was my favorite one, it looked like the "Lady who lived in a shoe" fairytale.
